Responsible Gaming

At mpo7, your well-being comes first. Gambling should be entertaining, never a source of stress or financial harm. We provide tools, resources, and support to help you stay in control.

21+ Only — Adults-Only Platform

mpo7 is strictly restricted to individuals aged 21 years or older. Underage gambling is illegal and harmful. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the legal age requirement. We use rigorous age verification procedures during the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Any player found to be underage will have their account immediately closed, all funds forfeited, and the matter reported to relevant authorities.

Responsible Gaming Tools & Features

mpo7 provides a comprehensive suite of self-management tools designed to help you maintain control over your gambling activity. All features are accessible 24/7 from your account settings.

Deposit Limits

Set maximum deposit limits to control how much money you can add to your account within a specified period. Available options:

  • Daily Limit: Maximum you can deposit in any 24-hour period
  • Weekly Limit: Maximum you can deposit over 7 consecutive days
  • Monthly Limit: Maximum you can deposit over 30 consecutive days

How it works: Once set, deposit limits take effect immediately. Requests to increase limits are subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period. Decreases take effect instantly.

Loss Limits

Set maximum loss thresholds to protect yourself from excessive losses. Track your net losses (deposits minus withdrawals and winnings) over defined periods:

  • Daily Loss Limit: Maximum net loss allowed per day
  • Weekly Loss Limit: Maximum net loss allowed per week
  • Monthly Loss Limit: Maximum net loss allowed per month

When you reach your loss limit, you will be unable to place additional bets until the period resets. You can still access your account and withdraw funds.

Session Time Limits

Set reminders and automatic session termination based on the duration of your continuous play. This helps prevent losing track of time during gaming sessions:

  • Session Reminder: Receive a pop-up notification after a specified duration (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours)
  • Auto-Logout: Automatically log out of your account after continuous play exceeds your set limit

Session timers reset when you manually log out. Use this feature if you find yourself playing longer than intended.

Cooling-Off Period (Timeout)

Take a voluntary break from gambling for a short period without permanently closing your account. During a timeout, you cannot:

  • Log in to your mpo7 account
  • Place bets or play games
  • Make deposits
  • Receive promotional emails or notifications

Available periods: 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days. After the timeout expires, your account will automatically reactivate. You can still withdraw funds during a timeout by contacting support.

Self-Exclusion

Permanently or temporarily exclude yourself from the mpo7 platform if you feel gambling is becoming a problem. Self-exclusion is a serious commitment:

  • 6-Month Exclusion: Account locked for 6 months, cannot be reversed
  • 1-Year Exclusion: Account locked for 12 months, cannot be reversed
  • Indefinite Exclusion: Permanent account closure with no option to reactivate

During self-exclusion, you cannot create new accounts, access existing accounts, or participate in any mpo7 services. All pending withdrawals will be processed. To request self-exclusion, contact our support team at [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request."

Reality Check & Account History

Stay informed about your gambling activity with transparent account tracking and periodic reminders:

  • Betting History: View detailed records of all bets placed, wins, losses, and net results
  • Transaction History: Track all deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, and fees
  • Reality Check Alerts: Periodic pop-up notifications displaying your session duration and net win/loss

Use this data to assess whether your gambling behavior aligns with your budget and entertainment goals. If you notice concerning patterns, consider setting stricter limits or taking a break.

Responsible Gaming Principles

1. Gambling is Entertainment, Not Income

Online betting on sports, live casino games, slots, togel (Indonesia's traditional numbers lottery), and sabung ayam (traditional cockfighting betting) should be viewed as a form of entertainment, similar to going to the cinema or attending a sports event. Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose. Treat any funds deposited into your mpo7 account as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment or income source. The house always has a mathematical edge over time, and most players will lose more than they win in the long run.

2. Set a Budget and Stick to It

Before you start playing, decide how much money you can afford to spend on gambling without affecting your essential expenses such as rent, food, utilities, education, or debt payments. Once you reach your budget limit, stop playing — regardless of whether you are winning or losing. Use mpo7's deposit limit and loss limit tools to enforce your budget automatically. Never chase losses by depositing more money in an attempt to recover what you have already lost.

3. Set Time Limits

It is easy to lose track of time when gambling, especially during exciting matches (BRI Liga 1, EPL, La Liga, Champions League, Timnas Indonesia fixtures) or engaging slot sessions. Set a time limit before you start, and use mpo7's session time reminders to alert you when you have been playing for a specified duration. Take regular breaks. Gambling should not interfere with your work, family, social life, or sleep schedule.

4. Never Gamble Under the Influence

Do not gamble when you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs judgment. Substance use reduces impulse control and decision-making ability, leading to reckless betting and financial losses. Similarly, avoid gambling when you are emotionally distressed, angry, or depressed. Emotional decisions rarely lead to positive outcomes.

5. Avoid Chasing Losses

Chasing losses — attempting to win back money you have already lost by placing larger or riskier bets — is one of the most common signs of problem gambling. Accept that losses are part of gambling. If you have lost your predetermined budget, walk away. The outcome of each bet is random, and previous losses do not increase your chances of winning future bets. Chasing losses typically leads to larger losses and can spiral into financial hardship.

6. Balance Gambling with Other Activities

Gambling should be just one of many recreational activities in your life. Maintain a healthy balance by spending time on hobbies, physical exercise, socializing with friends and family, and pursuing professional or educational goals. If gambling begins to dominate your time, thoughts, or finances, it may be a sign of a problem.

7. Know the Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, income, or background. Recognize the warning signs early and seek help if you notice any of the following behaviors in yourself or someone you care about:

  • Spending more money or time on gambling than you can afford
  • Lying to friends or family about your gambling activity
  • Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling
  • Neglecting work, school, or family responsibilities due to gambling
  • Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling
  • Repeatedly trying and failing to cut back or stop gambling
  • Using gambling as an escape from stress, depression, or other emotional problems
  • Chasing losses or gambling with increasingly larger amounts

If you or someone you know exhibits these signs, it is important to seek professional help immediately. Problem gambling is a treatable condition, and early intervention significantly improves outcomes.

8. Protect Minors

mpo7 is strictly for adults aged 21 and over. It is illegal for minors to gamble, and exposure to gambling at a young age increases the risk of developing gambling problems later in life. If you have children or young relatives, take steps to protect them:

  • Never share your mpo7 login credentials with anyone, including family members
  • Use parental control software to block access to gambling websites on devices used by minors
  • Store payment methods (bank cards, e-wallet credentials) securely and out of reach
  • Educate young people about the risks of gambling and the importance of responsible behavior

If you suspect a minor has accessed your account or created an account using false information, contact mpo7 support immediately at [email protected].

External Support Resources

In addition to mpo7's internal responsible gaming tools, we recommend the following independent organizations that provide professional support, counseling, and treatment for problem gambling:

International Organizations

  • Gamblers Anonymous: A fellowship of individuals who share experience, strength, and hope to recover from gambling addiction. Free 12-step support groups available worldwide.
  • GamCare: Provides information, advice, and support for anyone affected by problem gambling. Offers free counseling and self-help resources.
  • BeGambleAware: Independent charity offering support and treatment for problem gamblers and their families.
  • National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG): Provides resources, training, and advocacy to address problem gambling in the United States and internationally.

Self-Assessment Tools

If you are unsure whether your gambling behavior is problematic, consider taking a confidential self-assessment quiz. These brief questionnaires can help you evaluate your gambling habits and determine whether professional support might be beneficial. Self-assessment tools are available on the websites of the organizations listed above.

Family Support

Problem gambling does not only affect the individual gambler — it impacts entire families. If you are concerned about a loved one's gambling, or if your own gambling has harmed your relationships, family counseling services are available through the organizations mentioned above. Support groups specifically for family members of problem gamblers (such as Gam-Anon) provide a safe space to share experiences and coping strategies.
